Staff Boom Names Cheri Conte as Chief Operating Officer

ANAHEIM, Calif., January 20, 2026 – Staff Boom, a leading provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services for the insurance industry, today announced it has appointed Cheri Conte as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Conte will strengthen Staff Boom’s executive team, lead operational initiatives, and build large-scale outsourcing teams to accelerate operational quality and workflow modernization for Staff Boom’s partners.

As Chief Operating Officer, Conte will lead operational improvement and execution, performance management, and workflow modernization, aligning teams, processes, and enabling technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and automation. Her focus will be strengthening service delivery at scale and delivering superior operational outcomes for Staff Boom’s customers.

Prior to Staff Boom, Conte spent 22 years at Paychex, most recently serving as Senior Manager of Global Services. In that role, she designed and executed a global services strategy that supported growth to over 2,000 employees across three countries. She also led workflow modernization initiatives integrating AI, automation, contact center as a service (CCaaS), and analytics, and directed BPO vendor management and governance across the organization.

Conte’s appointment follows Staff Boom’s recent hiring announcement of John T. Carson to Chief Revenue Officer. Today’s news furthers the team’s ongoing commitment as a strategic BPO partner that is helping customers strengthen their own operational excellence, modernize workflows, and scale.
