Cheri Conte

Cheri Conte is the Chief Operating Officer at Staff Boom, where she strengthens the executive leadership team by leading operational strategy, execution, and building large-scale outsourcing teams that will accelerate operational quality and workflow modernization for the company’s partners. In this role, Cheri is responsible for driving operational excellence, modernizing workflows, and scaling service delivery to support Staff Boom’s continued growth and the evolving needs of its partners.

Cheri leads performance management, process optimization, and the enablement of technology solutions, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, to align teams, systems, and outcomes. Her focus is on building resilient, high-performing operations that deliver consistent quality, efficiency, and measurable value for Staff Boom’s customers.

Prior to Staff Boom, Cheri spent 22 years at Paychex, most recently serving as Senior Manager of Global Services. During her tenure, she designed and executed a global services strategy that scaled to more than 2,000 employees across three countries. Additionally, she led workflow modernization initiatives, integrating AI, automation, contact center as a service (CCaaS) and analytics, and directed BPO vendor management and governance across the organization.

Cheri Conte is a lifelong learner who believes the most effective leaders remain curious, adaptable, and grounded in data-informed decision-making. She is currently enrolled at Harvard Extension School, where she collaborates with accomplished professionals and faculty to deepen her perspective on leadership, strategy, and business transformation. She has also completed Harvard Business School’s Credential of Readiness (CORe) program with honors. These experiences help her position Staff Boom not only for today’s demands, but for long-term success.

Outside of work, Cheri is a proud mother of two. Her children are her greatest source of motivation, keeping her grounded, energized, and focused on building a future that balances professional excellence with purpose. Being a mom shapes how she leads; with empathy, clarity, and a strong sense of responsibility for the people and communities impacted by the systems she builds. She values partnership, trust, and integrity, and brings those principles into every aspect of her leadership at Staff Boom.
