At Staff Boom, we are committed to recognizing and valuing the exceptional contributions of our team members. Our Quarterly Employee Spotlight series is dedicated to highlighting outstanding talent and celebrating their achievements. This quarter, we are pleased to focus on Kaitlyn Kaplan and her remarkable accomplishments. Please join us in congratulating her!
Before joining Staff Boom, Kaitlyn Kaplan gained experience in partnership management, technology integration, and M&A while also earning licenses in P&C and Life & Health insurance. Throughout these roles, she developed strong skills in strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and implementing technology solutions—expertise she now applies at Staff Boom. Her diverse educational and professional background gives her a unique perspective in driving technology integration and strategic initiatives across projects.

We reached out to Kaitlyn’s supervisor for feedback on her performance, and the positive response was universally shared across the organization. Robert Dundas, Chief Development Officer, had this to say:
“Since joining our organization, Kaitlyn has demonstrated exceptional adaptability, quickly mastering new tools and technologies even in areas where she had limited prior experience. She has seamlessly integrated into our culture, building genuine friendships and fostering strong collaborative partnerships across multiple teams. Most impressively, she has taken full ownership of the Data Conversion team, managing it independently while spearheading its development as a new product offering for our company and customers. Her combination of rapid learning, interpersonal effectiveness, and entrepreneurial leadership has made her an invaluable asset who has delivered impact well beyond typical expectations for someone early in their tenure.”
To get to know more about Kaitlyn, we asked her some questions about herself and her time in the outsourcing industry world:
Q: How has your role evolved since you joined the team?
Kaitlyn Kaplan: I joined Staff Boom to support our new technology initiatives and have grown alongside my team. I collaborate closely with our development team, managing projects for our developers in Colombia and Peru. Additionally, I lead the Staff Boom Technologies Data Conversion Team, which has expanded from three members to nearly twenty in just three months. As we embark on our first client data migration projects, my role has evolved from project management to team leadership for the conversion team. I’m excited to see how my role continues to grow and develop throughout 2026.

Q: What’s your favorite memory from working at the company?
Kaitlyn Kaplan: My favorite experience at Staff Boom so far is when our Data Conversion Team formally completed their process guidelines. Creating a new team and watching our members take on new challenges was extremely rewarding and it was fantastic to see the team present their process with confidence.
Q: What are you looking forward to in your current role?
Kaitlyn Kaplan: I’m really excited to see my team grow this year. On the development side, we’ve made significant progress on new tools that will support both our clients and internal business processes. On the Data Conversion side, we’ve officially begun client projects, and there’s plenty of hard work ahead in the coming months. I look forward to seeing both teams continue to grow and to learning from every project that comes my way.

Q: What’s one thing on your bucket list?
Kaitlyn Kaplan: My top bucket list destination is Argentina. I’m excited to explore its vibrant cities, lush rainforests, vast icecaps, and towering mountains—all in a single trip!
Q: What are some of your favorite travel/vacation memories?
Kaitlyn Kaplan: This past year, I traveled to Australia and New Zealand with my sister, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime! We explored the vibrant food scene and culture in Sydney, visited some of our favorite Lord of the Rings filming locations in New Zealand, and experienced the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns. It was incredible to share such a unique adventure with someone so special to me.

Q: Do you have any strategies for dealing with stress at work?
Kaitlyn Kaplan: I love working at Staff Boom because I’m surrounded by such supportive people who always go the extra mile to help me, especially when I’m feeling stressed. I rely heavily on my team for guidance on strategies and deadlines. Since I work from home, I make it a point to take a walk or two when I need to clear my head.
Q: Describe an interesting hobby or pastime that you have
Kaitlyn Kaplan: I love backpacking and try to fit in a few trips every summer. I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends whenever I can. While the farthest I’ve traveled for a camping trip is Austria, I often spend time closer to home in the Eastern Sierras.

Congratulations, Kaitlyn, for your dedication and the impact you’ve made on the company’s success. Your efforts are deeply valued, and we look forward to all that you will continue to achieve in the future!
