Marissa Holland

Marissa Holland is a Marketing Administrative Assistant at Staff Boom. Taking on this job is an entirely new experience for her as she has not worked in marketing or in the insurance industry till now. Her background is in the arts. She holds two bachelor’s degrees from Cal State Fullerton. One in History and the other in Theatre Arts. As well as her most recent accomplishment, a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of the Arts in Dramaturgy. She strives to be an excellent storyteller not only for her own work, but to assist others with their work as well. By stepping into marketing, her desire is to go past the red velvet curtains and learn how she can use her creativity in a more widespread field. She plans to learn as much as she can from her Staff Boom team and hopes that her research, editing, and development skills will benefit the company in any way that it can.

In her free time, she actively writes, pursuing her goal of one day seeing her novels published and her scripts staged. She enjoys crocheting, reading and going to Disneyland. Most importantly though, she cherishes spending as much time as she can with her family.
