Amanda Cannon

Amanda Cannon is an Accountant at Staff Boom, where she brings a diverse background in banking, accounting, and insurance to her role. Before joining Staff Boom in 2022, Amanda spent the majority of her professional career working in banking and accounting, developing a strong foundation in financial processes and attention to detail. She later served as a Legal Assistant for a business and tax planning law firm, where she gained valuable exposure to legal and financial structures, further strengthening her understanding of complex financial environments.

Following her work in the legal field, Amanda transitioned into the insurance industry by joining a local insurance agency. In this role, she supported the service team across multiple areas, including account management, billing, claims, and customer service. Her hands-on involvement in these functions allowed her to develop a well-rounded perspective on client needs and operational workflows. Shortly after beginning her career in insurance, Amanda became a licensed insurance agent, a step she took to better serve her community and provide more informed support to clients.

When Amanda is not at work, she likes to do activities like cooking. However, what she
cherishes above all else is spending as much time as she can with those she loves most:
her family. Amanda is a proud mother of three children. She fills her free time full of
activities that involve her children and her husband, which allow her to relax, connect, and
maintain a healthy balance between work and family life. One of her favorite activities
is going to the lake with the four of them.
