John Gustafson

John Gustafson serves as an Account Executive at Staff Boom, bringing more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, including 13 years in the insurance industry. His background includes working with a direct carrier and later as an independent agent, giving him a well-rounded understanding of consultative selling, customer service, account management, and building relationships that support long-term business growth.

Throughout his career, John has built territories from the ground up, developed and managed client relationships, and contributed to sales leadership, training, onboarding, and team coaching. His performance has earned recognition through honors including Chairman’s Council, President’s Club, and Diamond Club. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism with an option in Advertising from California State University, Fresno (Go Dogs!).

Outside of work, John Gustafson enjoys spending time outdoors, staying involved in his church, and being with his family. He is also a passionate football fan who enjoys connecting with others over their favorite college and NFL teams, as well as the stories behind the game.
