Jannette Schmidt

Jannette Schmidt is a Business Development Manager at Staff Boom. She holds an associate of science in psychology with a focus on neuroscience from Ivy Tech Indiana and studied finance and business accounting at Western Governors University. With nearly five years in commercial insurance, primarily on the broker side, Jannette has built deep experience working with contractors in construction, along with real estate and property insurance portfolio management. She has extensive knowledge of what account management looks like day to day, and she understands the value of strong client relationships, including those with MGAs, underwriters, brokers, and carriers.

What Jannette Schmidt enjoys most is working on strategic solutions that ease as much as possible for the clients she supports, which has always been her favorite part of working directly with clients day to day. She takes real pride in making the everyday run smoother for the people she partners with.

Outside of work, Jannette gives her time to CARITAS in Austin, where she helps families and individuals build stability through effective money management and preparation for new employment. She loves weight training, watching sports, and spending as much time as possible near the water soaking up the sun.
