At Staff Boom, we are committed to recognizing and valuing the exceptional contributions of our team members. Our Quarterly Employee Spotlight series is dedicated to highlighting outstanding talent and celebrating their achievements. This quarter, we are pleased to focus on Andre Younge and his remarkable accomplishments. Please join us in congratulating him!
Before joining Staff Boom, Andre Younge earned his bachelor’s degree from ITT Tech and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, while building a well-rounded career across customer service, education, insurance, and business analysis. His experience as a teacher helped him develop adaptable approaches to different learning styles, and his time as a manager at American Income Life Insurance strengthened his leadership and training abilities while supporting agents in serving families with life insurance needs. Today, he brings this blend of education and diverse professional experience to his role as a Relationship Manager at Staff Boom.

We reached out to Andre’s supervisor for feedback on his performance, and the positive response was universally shared across the organization. Hernan Perez, Operations Manager of Partner Experience, had this to say:
“Andre exemplifies excellence as a Relationship Manager and trusted teammate. He consistently delivers outstanding results, driving account growth while building lasting relationships with both partners and colleagues. His reliability and commitment to success have made him a valued resource for the Operations Team. Andre consistently demonstrates a strong willingness to share knowledge and expertise. He does not hesitate to support a colleague in navigating challenges and provide them with the tools for successful outcomes. His impact extends well beyond business results; his commitment to empowering others has fostered meaningful growth across team members as well.
Andre’s dedication to both partner and team success makes him a valuable asset and highly deserving of this recognition. Congratulations, Andre. Thank you for your continued contributions, and we look forward to seeing all you accomplish in the future.”
To get to know more about Andre, we asked him some questions about himself and his time in the outsourcing industry world:
Q: What have been some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career?
Andre Younge: The most important lessons I have learned are that if you’re on time, you’re late, always own your mistakes and find solutions, be kind and welcoming to all you interact with at work, and if someone else can do it, so can I.
Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.
Andre Younge: During my four years teaching at a career college, I led the Ambassadors Program, mentoring students and helping those in need. After noticing many students struggled to afford basic necessities, I organized fundraising efforts and later partnered with the couponing community to collect donated food and hygiene products. Helping students overcome these challenges and reach graduation became one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Q: How have you grown professionally while on our team?
Andre Younge: The two areas in which I have grown the most are organization and empathy. Managing multiple teams, operations leads, and partners strengthened my ability to stay organized and provide clear answers to complex questions.
At the same time, I developed a deeper sense of empathy by understanding the trust our partners place in our services and the needs of my team members. This has helped me build stronger relationships, foster collaboration, and support continued growth and success.
Q: What is a secret no one knows about?
Andre Younge: I acted for a short time. You can find me in a promotional ad made for the movie Black Dynamite: “Anaconda Malt Liquor Commercial” on YouTube.

Q: What would your perfect weekend look like?
Andre Younge: Good food, good drinks, family, and friends coming together to enjoy each other’s company, along with at least one day reserved for “me” time.
Q: If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?
Andre Younge: I would pick mind reading, as in every aspect of life involving other people, this would come in handy. Other powers have several downsides.

Q: Outside of these questions, if you can share some brief information about your experience with outsourcing, prior working experiences, accolades, and hobbies or activities you like to fill your time with when not at work, that would be much appreciated!
Andre Younge: Prior to working here, I had a variety of roles including field tech for Toshiba and Minolta, law clerk, RF technician for cellphone towers, teacher, and business analyst. My early career was highly technical, but I later pursued an MBA to expand my opportunities.
During Christmas time of 2022, I was laid off from my position. Not a fun Christmas gift, but so is life. After a period of job hunting, I received a job offer and joined Staff Boom following the hiring process. It has been a very positive experience with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.
Working with outsourced teams, particularly in the Philippines, has given me a deeper appreciation for different cultures and the effort behind the work. It has also changed the way I view customer service interactions.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, retro gaming, and watching wrestling.

Congratulations, Andre, for your dedication and the impact you’ve made on the company’s success. Your efforts are deeply valued, and we look forward to all that you will continue to achieve in the future!
